Itinerary
Day 1: Dar-es Salaam.
Transfer to your hotel located in the heart of Dar-es Salaam.
Day 2: Dar-es Salaam - Selous Game Reserve. After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch to Selous for a late afternoon game drive. Welcome drink at Selous River Camp site; evening and dinner at leisure. 230km/6 -7hrs)
Day 3: Selous Game Reserve.
Full day of game viewing with your safari guide in Selous Game Reserve; explore the biggest game reserve in Africa viewing diverse wildlife including lion, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, elephant, wild dog, etc. Overnight at Selous River Camp. (unlimited kilometers)
Day 4: Selous Game Reserve.
Selous Nature Walk and Boat Ride (walking Safari / 2 - 3hrs) 6am walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger to view wildlife habitats, trees and birdlife. English breakfast followed by hot lunch. Boat ride on Rufiji River at 4pm (2.5hrs); enjoy the beautiful sunset and scenery of the Rufiji River with its many hippos, crocodiles and birdlife.
Day 5: Selous Game Reserve.
Another full day of game drive; arrive at the camp for evening leisure and hot dinner (unlimited kilometers) .
Day 6: Selous Game Reserve - Dar-es Salam Port - Zanzibar.
Transfer to port; boat ride to Zanzibar. Pick up and transfer to hotel in Stone Town (230km/6 - 7hrs) .
Day 7: Zanzibar-East Coast.
Safari Blue and Beach Vacation. Visit Southern tip of Zanzibar for sailing, snorkeling, dolphin watching, and seafood barbeque lunch; transfer to the East Coast for your beach vacation in the late afternoon.
Day 8 & 9: East Coast Zanzibar.
Beach Vacation Refresh on pristine white sand beaches with coral reefs.
Day 10: East Coast Zanzibar - Zanzibar Airport.
Early morning at the beach and lush breakfast, before your guide returns you to Zanzibar International Airport (46km/1hr). Domestic flight to Dar-es Salaam; connect with international flight home.
