Itinerary
Day 1: San Jose-Manuel Antonio.
Transfer by car to Manuel Antonio. Afternoon at the beach.
Day 2: Manuel Antonio.
Manuel Antonio National Park Tour. Pick-up at hotel at 8:00am. Guided trail hike through the park to view tropical vegetation and wildlife. The park is home to 3 monkey species, sloths, birds, reptiles, orchids, butterflies and tropical vegetation. The tour will stop at a beach for 20 minutes. Return to hotel.
Day 3: Manuel Antonio.
Rafting, Rating Class II - III, on Savegre River. Pick-up at hotel at 8:00am. Drive, with guide, to Savegre River rafting site. Along route, view African palm plantations, charming towns, rivers and jungle vegetation. Run the rapids for approx 2 and half hours, stopping to rest and admire beautiful flora and fauna. Drive back to base camp, change into dry clothes and savor a delicious homemade meal. Return to hotel.
Day 4: Manuel Antonio to San Jose.
Private transfer to San Jose Airport or to Arenal and continue with an optional tour.
